Compliance Officer (32 – 40 hours)

About the position

To complement our Compliance team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Compliance Officer with a continuous focus on the improvement of processes and procedures to become the top player in our league.

The Compliance team is part of the department Legal, Compliance and Risk. As Compliance Officer, you operate in the heart of and throughout the Max Property Group and make sure that we manage our risks in a responsible and compliant manner. You report directly to the Board of Max Property Group and work closely with your colleague, Dylan.

 Responsibilities

• Primary: execute compliance monitoring activities
• Supervise the Know Your Customers (KYC) processes
• Advise management and/or the business on (complex) compliance topics
• Compile compliance reports for management, board and/or regulators
• Develop, maintain and report on (management) controls on relevant processes
• Update, develop and/or review compliance policies
• Translate applicable legislation and regulations into adequate policies
• Contribute to the development and execution of training and awareness programs
• Provide support for audits of external parties
• (2nd Line) participation in projects

 Competencies

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably law or comparable study or demonstrably a comparable level of knowledge and thinking. Certified compliance education is an advantage
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience (risk management and/or compliance) is preferred
• Excellent written and communication skills in English (Dutch is a pre)
• You can work independently and think structured and logic
• Knowledge of Crowdfunding regulations is a welcome experience
